Hello, my name is Mike.
I'm an integrative counsellor and CBT therapist based in Wolverhampton. My services include face to face sessions (within the Wolverhampton area) and video sessions anywhere within the UK, for adults 16 and over. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor, offering clinical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors and CBT therapists.
I am a accredited professional registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) as well as an accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and adhere to their respective ethical guidelines at all times.

As a qualified counsellor and CBT therapist, I have experience with a broad spectrum of issues, including anxiety, low mood/depression, PTSD, OCD, specific phobias, panic attacks, trauma, self-esteem, stress, Insomnia, bereavement, burnout, long term/chronic health conditions, health anxiety, and social anxiety.
As part of my practice I specialise in and also offer neuro-affirming therapy for Autistic and ADHD clients on the above issues too.
Being both a counsellor and CBT therapist I can utilise various techniques from each approach tailored to your individual needs, always putting you the client at the centre of the process, after all your therapy should be about you, what you want and need.
Whether it is counselling or CBT you are after, I will offer you a judgment free space to openly discuss your thoughts and feelings, aiming to gain fresh perspectives and foster positive changes in your life.
If instead of therapy it is clinical supervision you are after, either as a counsellor or as a CBT therapist, and you are working with clients aged 16 and over with similar or the same issues as listed above I am able to offer supervision either face to face or online via video in accordance with your respective ethical guidelines whether that is NCPS BABCP or BACP.
